Printer

I have a Folgertech Kossel kit. Out of anything I've ever purchased, This is probably the biggest impulse buy I've ever made. I instantly fell in love with the delta-type design. Previously I had only been exposed to Cartesian 3D printers, such as the Makerbot Replicator 2X at work. The Kossel printer really appealed to my electrical engineer side, because I imagine the 3 arms of the machine to be a 3 phase sinusoid whenever it traces circles. Yeah, really nerdy impulse buy. I love it!

For most of my projects I used SolidWorks for 3D modeling, Simplify 3D as my slicer, and Repetier Host to control my printer.
